ApuaLegal uses advanced AI models to understand your legal query in natural language -- whether in English or Hindi. It then searches across a comprehensive database of Indian case law from the Supreme Court, High Courts, and Tribunals, as well as statutes and legal commentary. Results are returned with citations, relevant excerpts, and links to full judgments, so you can verify every reference.

Yes. Security is foundational to ApuaLegal. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Our infrastructure runs on Google Cloud, with your core client and matter data stored at rest in the Mumbai region (asia-south1). We implement role-based access controls, audit logging, and regular security assessments. We never use your client data to train AI models. For more details, see our Security Overview.

ApuaLegal currently supports English and Hindi for both research queries and AI-generated responses. We are actively working on adding support for more Indian languages, including Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. Our goal is to make legal AI accessible to advocates regardless of language preference.

ApuaLegal has a free tier and paid plans designed for individual practitioners. You can start free with 10 AI legal researches and 2 documents a month plus unlimited Supreme Court corpus search; paid plans (Basic ₹999/month and Pro ₹1,999/month, plus 18% GST) unlock higher research and document limits. Yes. All ApuaLegal subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from your account settings. There are no long-term commitments or cancellation fees. If you cancel, you will continue to have access until the end of your current billing period. For details on refunds, please see our Refund Policy.

eCourts integration is on our roadmap and in active development: CNR-based case tracking, cause-list monitoring, and next-hearing alerts across District Courts and High Courts. It is not yet live — you can opt in for early access once it ships.

Yes. ApuaLegal is designed with full compliance to the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. We implement purpose-limited data processing, informed consent mechanisms, data minimisation principles, and all necessary safeguards for data fiduciaries. Your core client and matter data is stored at rest in India (Google Cloud Mumbai); a limited set of identity, AI-inference, and infrastructure sub-processors process certain data outside India, encrypted in transit and consistent with the DPDP Act's cross-border provisions (see our Privacy Policy for the full sub-processor list). Every research result includes citations and links to source documents so you can verify the accuracy of any finding. We recommend treating AI-generated research as a powerful starting point that should always be verified against primary sources -- just as you would with any research tool. Our models are continuously improved based on user feedback and legal expert review.
